Introduction
CMA Foundation (CMAF) is an extended arm of ICMAP to supplement its efforts in diverse areas of research, consultancy, capacity building, and other professional tasks that are of relevance to the Management Accountants in particular and all other professionals in general. It is a platform mainly to take initiatives for personal and professional development and support Management Accountants.
CMAF establishes links between the professions and industry. It addresses issues faced by the professionals in their quest for success in life, contribute to nation building efforts and professional assistance to businesses in finding solutions to all kinds of issues, including those related to human resource development.
CMAF is affiliate of ICMAP, a leading professional educational institution of Pakistan. It has been meeting a national human resource need for over half a century through a steady flow of professional Management Accountants in the economy. It recognizes the challenges to the businesses of an increasingly fast-paced, competitive and demanding world and is constantly endeavoring to produce professional Accountants of high caliber with specialization in Cost and Management Accounting. It has been contributing to the economic development of the country by providing corporate and strategic leaders, entrepreneurs and competent business managers. These professionals also play advisory role, providing solutions and preparing organizations to achieve both strategic and operational success.
Besides the core functions, ICMAP also has long experience, of more than 57 years, of conducting training programmes for small, medium and large enterprises. By virtue of its status as a prestigious professional Institute, it has the responsibility of life-long professional development of its members, working for the Government, industry and trade within and outside the country. At an individual level, ICMAP has trained and groomed innumerable professionals through its strong nationwide network of continuing professional development activities. ICMAP is proactive in addressing business and industry issues by organizing workshops, seminars and conferences.
It provides platform to government dignitaries, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, experts, researchers and professionals to share their views and ideas. ICMAP regularly provides inputs to the Government and regulating bodies on strategic issues and policies.
